Enforcement of sentences

The sentences passed by the courts are recorded in a register of judicial decisions where the Judicial Unit of the Central Administration of the Criminal Sanctions Agency receives the information on prison sentences and community sanctions (community service and juvenile punishment).When the Judicial Unit has stated that the sentence is enforceable, it sends an enforcement order to the bailiff of the sentenced offender’s place of residence or a community sanctions office of the Criminal Sanctions Agency (juvenile punishment). Information on a juvenile ordered to supervision is forwarded to the community sanctions office, which arranges the supervision.
