New prison director in Hämeenlinna Prison

Samuli Laulumaa , Master of Arts and Master of Laws, has been appointed as the director of Hämeenlinna Prison starting from the beginning of March.

Mr Laulumaa has worked in different positions in the criminal sanctions field for nearly 13 years since the year 2000.

He has, among others, worked as the director of Pyhäselkä Prison, Vantaa Prison and Vanaja Open Prison Ward as well as the personnel manager of the Criminal Sanctions Region of Western Finland.

He acted as the temporary director of Hämeenlinna Prison from May 2011 to the end of August 2013.
