Lappeenranta Branch Office of Southeast Probation Office moves to Lappeenranta Joint Service Point

Lappeenranta Branch Office will not take client appointments between 26 February and 3 March 2024. However, you can reach the staff of the probation office normally by telephone during the move.

The new facilities of Lappeenranta Branch Office will open on 4 March 2024 at the address Villimiehenkatu 2. The telephone numbers and other contact information of the office will remain the same.

Lappeenranta Branch Office is open on Monday to Friday at 8.00–16.15. The office serves probation clients only by appointment. When you arrive for your appointment, you have to check in at the self-check-in terminal in the lobby of the Joint Service Point.

Joint Service Point gathers central government’s in-person services in one place

The Lappeenranta Joint Service Point is part of the renewal of the central government’s service and premises network. The aim of the project is to centralise central government’s in-person services to joint service points during the 2020s. At the same time, the central government’s use of premises will be made more efficient as agencies move to shared office spaces.

In addition to the probation office of the Prison and Probation Service, the following authorities provide their services at the Lappeenranta Joint Service Point: the Southeast Finland TE Office, the Southeast Finland Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centre), the Finnish Tax Administration, Kela, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency, the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland, the Finnish Immigration Service, the National Land Survey of Finland, the Wellbeing Services County of South Karelia, the Legal Aid and Public Guardianship District of Southeastern Finland, and the National Enforcement Authority Finland.

The aforementioned government agencies are accompanied by Business Finland, Fintraffic Railway, Traficom and the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency in the shared office spaces.
