International transfers

A foreigner sentenced to imprisonment may, on certain conditions, have a possibility to serve the prison sentence in his or her home country.

In addition, the transfer of the enforcement of a community sanction judgment or a probation decision to another Nordic country or EU Member State may also be possible.
